IDDSI: History, Implementation, & Practical Experience

Learner Objectives

  1. Participants will define the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI)
  2. Participants will articulate the differences between a descriptive diet such as IDDSI versus a perspective diet such as the National Dysphagia Diet (NDD).
  3. Participants will describe how to test foods using the IDDSI Test Methods for varying IDDSI diet levels.
