You have a great product. I had cancer of the tonsils. After I had my tonsils removed I had problems with liquids (tea, coke, water, etc.) coming through my nose. I started going to a speech therapist. She gave me some samples of SimplyThick. It works great to help prevent this.

My husband drinks a lot of Pepsi. SimplyThick does not change the taste or texture and there are still bubbles! After adding the thickener, the drink thickens immediately and will not continue to get thicker the longer it sits.

Unfortunately, each one was just one more nightmare to deal with. They generally lumped up when trying to mix them into her drinks. Or worse yet, after we finally got the needed consistency, if the drink sat for a while (which frequently happens due to her severe difficulty in swallowing) the thickener and liquids would have a tendency to separate. It was a constant struggle to get and keep the desired consistency for my daughter's drinks. Then someone told us about SimplyThick and this part of our nightmare came to a quick end! SimplyThick mixes in easily and does NOT separate! Now I can mix up a quart of her favorite drink in the morning and know it will retain the proper consistency all day long.

As a family caregiver of a loved one with dysphagia brought on by a neurological condition and then a stroke, swallowing thin liquids was not an option.
