The FDA issued a Consumer Update regarding SimplyThick on September 18, 2012. This FDA Consumer Update was NOT a recall notice nor does the FDA Consumer Update in any way mention or imply that a recall was necessary or desirable. The FDA Consumer Update does recommend that health care providers be consulted in situations where infants of any age are using or may be using SimplyThick gel thickener.
